Three persons die in 2 separate road accidents
Srinagar:A motorcyclist died on Monday after his bike skidded off the road and fell into the other side of the road in Surankote area of Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch district on Sunday late night.
Reports said that a motorbike under registration number JK02-2931 skidded off the road and turned turtle. As the bike fell down on one side of the road at Pass Potha area of Surankote, the accident resulted in on the spot death of the motorcyclist identified as Sajid Ali Shah (25) son of Kabir Hussain Shah of Dabraj Mendhar.
The tragic accident took place around 2:00 am when the motorcyclist was coming from Mendhar towards Sanai. The body of the deceased was subsequently taken to SDH Surankote for medico-legal formalities. In this regard, police have taken up further investigations.
Meanwhile, on Sunday afternoon, two persons were killed when a vehicle they were travelling in got sandwiched between two trucks in Batote area of Ramban district Sunday afternoon.
Reports that a load carrier bearing Registration Number JK-14C 6824 met with an accident near Batote of park Mohre area in Shampa after hit by a truck from behind while another truck coming from the opposite side hit it from the front. The registration numbers of the trucks are PB-23K 4815 and PB-06G 5181.
In the incident, two persons boarding in the load carrier, identified as Usman Farooq (23) son of Farooq Ahmad Lone a resident of Rakh Jarog and Basharat Ahmad (25) son of Khursheed Ahmad a resident of Gurmail, died on spot.
