Concerned Over J&K, Says UN Chief In Pak; India Rejects Mediation Offer
New Delhi:
India on Sunday rejected an offer of mediation from UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres on Jammu and Kashmir, saying the focus instead should be on making Pakistan vacate the territories that it has “illegally and forcibly occupied”.
India’s response came after Mr Guterres’s comment, saying he was “deeply concerned” over the situation in Jammu and Kashmir, news agency PTI reported.
