DDC inspects District Hospital Shopian

SHOPIAN FEBRUARY 20:  District Development Commissioner (DDC) Shopian, Choudhary Mohammad Yasin today took stock of ongoing developmental works of District Hospital Shopian being executed by Jammu and Kashmir Projects Construction Corporation (JKPCC).

During his visit, DDC inspected progress of work on academic block, administrative block, OPD, Operation Theatre, Surgical and other wards.

He directed the concerned officers to speed up the pace of work and complete the project to make the newly constructed additional blocks of the hospital functional at an earliest.

Chief Medical Officer, Medical Superintendent and other concerned officers were accompanying the DDC.

On the occasion, DDC interacted with the patients and inquired about the health care facilities being provided to them in the hospital.

He directed hospital authorities for providing best health and medical care facilities to the patients and to maintain adequate stock of   medicines. He also directed for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in and around the hospital premises.

The DDC instructed the hospital authorities to display the duty roasters of doctors and para medical staff at prominent place and ensure punctuality of the staff.

The Hospital authorities apprised the DDC about stock situation of life-saving-drugs and other medicines.
