People meet Administrative Secretaries at Civil Secretariat Jammu; projects issues, concerns
JAMMU, MARCH 06: To reach people at grass roots level as part of routine hearing of public grievances by the Administration, Administrative Secretaries today met with general public and panchayat representatives in their office chambers at Civil Secretariat.
A large number of deputations from across J&K met the Administrative Secretaries and highlighted their issues pertaining to Animal and Sheep Husbandry, Transport, School Education, Social Welfare, Disaster Management, Relief, Rehabilitation and Reconstruction, Cooperative, Tribal Affairs, Home, Planning & Monitoring, Information and General Administration Department.
During separate public meetings held today Principal Secretary Home Shaleen Kabra, Principal Secretary Planning, Development, Monitoring and Information, Rohit Kansal, Secretary General Administration Department Farooq Ahmad Lone met with people and took stock of their grievances and concerns.
Several individuals and deputations met Principal Secretary and put forth their issues pertaining to Home department. Issues raised included SRO 43 cases, request for police intervention in a personal matter besides several service matters.
Similarly, Principal Secretary Animal and Sheep Husbandry and Transport Department Dr. Asgar Hassan Samoon, Commissioner Secretary School Education and Social Welfare Department Hirdesh Kumar, Secretary Disaster Management, Relief, Rehabilitation and Reconstruction Simrandeep Singh and Secretary Cooperative and Tribal Affairs department Abdul Majid Bhat today met with individuals, deputations, Ex MLAs/MLCs and BDC Chairpersons to take stock of their issues and concerns.
Several issues were raised today by individuals and deputations during their meeting with the Administrative Secretaries and sought early redressal of the same.
Two separate representations from Surankot Poonch and Darhal, Rajouri met Secretary Tribal Affairs and requested for construction of of drains and allotment of land for grave yard in their area.
Another deputation of transporters met Principal Secretary Transport seeking his intervention for resolution of their issues and concerns.
Administrative Secretaries assured the people that their genuine issues would be taken up on priority for redressal. They also gave directions to the concerned authorities to take appropriate action on the issues highlighted in the public hearings.
