Srinagar, Mar 13 (KNS): Senior leader Apni Party and former legislator Rafi Ahmad Mir has welcomed the revocation of PSA of Dr. Farooq Abdullah. Stating that it was need of the hour to lift PSA from other 394 persons languishing in jails outside J&K including two former Chief Ministers.
A statement issued to KNS, Mir said that hundreds of political workers, youth activists and political leaders are still under detention, ironically most of them are lodged in jails in outside J&K we strongly demand their release. Mir said that “Apni Party welcomes the release of Dr. Farooq Abdullah and we also strongly urge Government demanding release of political workers, activists and members of civil society. (KNS)
