Farooq Abdullah released on the instructions of central government

Srinagar: In a sudden development, J&K Home Department has revoked the PSA order slapped on Former Chief Minister and sitting MP of Srinagar Dr. Farooq Abdullah today. This development has come as recently major opposition parties including two main faces Sharad Powar and Mamta Banerjee appealed government to release without any further delay. Even two Former BJP Minister who now parted ways with BJP including Arun Shuray And Yeshwant Sinha also signed this letter of protest against continued detention of Farooq Abdullah his son Omar Abdullah and Mehbooba Mufti.
It seems that central government has decided to release all the mainstream political leaders and they have started the process with the release of Farooq Abdullah. In the current session of the parliament, government informed the house that 396 persons were still under detention in Kashmir including three former chief ministers.
Latest reports said that media was not being allowed by police to meet Farooq Abdullah till this news report was being filed. Lot of media has assembled including various television channels outside his residence. More details are awaited
