Red Cross Society Jammu distributes ration
JAMMU, MARCH 31: Indian Red Cross Society, Jammu Region today distributed rice, aatta, potato, onion, salt, sugar, pulses, oil etc among homeless and labourers of Beli Charana, Circular Road, Chand Nagar, Pahari Mohalla, Old Hospital Road and other nearby places in the city who have been struggling to get food and ration in view of restrictions imposed to contain Coronavirus Covid -19 spread.
Secretary, Indian Red Cross Society, Vinod Malhotra said that “on the directions of Divisional Commissioner Jammu (Chairman, IRCS Jammu Region), the IRCS is providing food and ration to the poor and needy people”.
He appealed the general public to follow the instructions of government and maintain social distance and hygiene in and around their surroundings.
He was accompanied by staff members of Red Cross Society.
