Delay in releasing kashmiri detainees in and outside jails painful: Qayoom Wani

Srinagar, April 14 (KNS): In a press statement Former EJAC President and Civil Society leader Qayoom wani showed serious concern over the delay in releasing Kashmiri detainees when everybody is feared of Covid -19.
A statement issued to KNS, Wani said that delay in their release has put their families in pain and distress .
He said the detainees in and out side jails are cut off from their families because of lockdown and are facing many difficulties he also said that majority of detainees are senior citizens and are facing multiple ailments.
He also appealed for early release of kashmiri detainees in and outside jails on humanitarian grounds to provide a sigh of relief to their families at this difficult time.
Wani also demanded immediate and safe return of J&k students,business class, labours and other people from different parts of country and outside country who are in mental distress and their safe return will save there families from mental trauma at this difficult time.
Wani said that kashmiris in & outside India need immidiate and safe return, the statement issued to KNS said (KNS)
