Budgam gunfight :Two Jaish militants killed, searches underway
Srinagar :Two Jaish-i Muhammad militants were killed in a gunfight in Mouchwa area of Budgam district.
A top Police officer told GNS that two militants bodies are visible, possibly there could be one more as searches are still underway.
Earlier, Reports reaching GNS that a joint team of Srinagar Police, Budgam Police and army’s 50RR launched a cordon and search operation in Mouchwa.
As the joint team of forces approached towards the suspected spot, the hiding militants fired upon the forces, triggering off a gunfight.
Pertinently, this is second gunfight of this week, yesterday one militant was killed, while another surrendered in South Kashmir’s Tral.(GNS)
