Woman injured in Anantnag fire incident succumbs
A woman, who was critically injured in a fire incident in south Kashmir district of Anantnag few days back, succumbed at a hospital in Srinagar.
Official sources said that the woman, identified as Raja Banoo, was critically injured in a fire incident that took place in Mattan in Anantnag few days back. “The woman was immediately taken to a local hospital from where she was referred to SHMS hospital in Srinagar,” they said.
They said after battling for her life for several days, the woman succumbed to her injuries at the hospital on Thursday. “After completing all the legal and medical formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to her relatives for last rites,” they added.
