Alarming situation
Despite being under curfew and with a lot of restrictions, the situation is still alarming because of the growing number of covid cases in Jammu and Kashmir.
Recently Lt. Governor Manoj Sinha told the media that his administration is working round the clock and doing their best to ensure all medical facilities to the people of Jammu and Kashmir but the growing infection and the deaths spike otherwise.
The government has further claimed that they are taking some preventive measures to strengthen the rapid response mechanism to deal with the growing covid-19 cases, but the ground reports appearing in various social media platforms negate such claims.
The government has said that the present covid situation in Jammu and Kashmir is under control and has said that they have increased capacity of medical oxygen three times in the last six months, but the shortage of the oxygen cylinders is the reality in Jammu and Kashmir.
The government has further said that they will install ten more oxygen plants in a couple of weeks besides adding the oxygen beds in various covid designated hospitals.
The people of Jammu and Kashmir want a visible change of attitude in the bureaucracy to take steps promptly and sincerely in order to contain the second wave of covid-19 here.
