More oxygen plants
In order to enhance the capacity of oxygen generation in Jammu and Kashmir LG Manoj Sinha in the recent past has been not only under taking personal visits to the hospitals but has also requested the central government for the fresh oxygen plants so that the sufferings of the people are mitigated at the earliest.
Recently the government received Nine More Oxygen Plants from Germany and would be installed here. According to the media reports with these new oxygen generation plants, the region’s total medical oxygen generating capacity has reached 60,000 liters per minute, which doctors say is sufficient to meet the present demand. They also say that Jammu and Kashmir is going for a better oxygen delivery system in future when these plants will start working.
The government of Jammu and Kashmir has 40 functional oxygen generation plants and the addition of nine more fresh plants imported from Germany, would enhance the availability of medical oxygen in hospitals of J&K raising it to more than 60,000 LPM.
Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha has been very active to enhance the oxygen generation in entire Jammu and Kashmir and he recently said that the government’s goal is to augment the medical supply across Jammu and Kashmir with a vision to tackle any future health emergencies. “Medical infrastructure capacities will be upgraded across the board.
