Department of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare Doda organises awareness program under Organic farming at Bellru Marmat
Field and inspection visit by officers and officials of Department of Agriculture are also conducted
DODA, SEPTEMBER 13: Department of Agriculture and farmers Welfare Doda, Sub Division Pranoo organised an awareness program under organic farming at Bellru Marmat today.
About 25 farmers attended the programme. District level SMS Dr Ajay Sharma was the Chief guest and resource person on the occasion.
Dr Ajay spoke in length about the different benefits of organic farming .He also lectured on the basic principles of organic farming and assured all kind of technical and material support in this regard.
SDAO Pranoo, Kuldeep Bhasan also spoke on the occasion and assured to address the different issues faced by the farmers. Manjeet Singh JAEO conducted the proceeding of programme. Sarpanch of the area was also present on the occasion. He assured full support to department in their mission of organic farming.
Among others AEAs Sajad Ahmed and Amit Gupta were present on the occasion.
Organic fertilizer was also distributed among the farmers. A field visit was also arranged on the occasion.
