Developmental works
In Srinagar district there is constant monitoring of different developmental projects and many of them are at the verge of completion.
Recently DC Srinagar conducted whirlwind tour of the City and inspected ongoing developmental works for Darish Kadal Bridge, Development of Footpath near Aiwa Bridge.
He took onsite appraisal of works being executed under National Clean Air Programme at SKIMS Soura, Amar Singh College and Hazratbal areas.
While monitoring the works he was told that 2nd Tankipora Bridge to be made motorable shortly.
He said thatSkill Development & Rehabilitation Centre for Youth affected from Substance Abuse set up at Kathi Darwaza to be made operational soon.
He undertook a review tour of the City to inspect and oversee the progress of works being carried out on various developmental projects in different areas of the City.
The Deputy Commissioner accompanied by the Officers of the line Departments inspected progress of ongoing works on construction of Tankipora Bridge, Darish Kadal Bridge, Development of Footpath near Aiwa Bridge and Skill Development & Rehabilitation Centre for Youth affected from Substance Abuse at IMHAANS Kathi Darwaza.
