Authorities Seize Unregistered Clinic, Chemist Shop in Kashmir
SRINAGAR: Authorities seized a clinic and a chemist shop in south Kashmir’s Pulwama on Tuesday, operated by an unqualified practitioner, officials reported.
An official said that the action followed the circulation of a viral video showing Firdous Ahmad prescribing medications to patients.
A team dispatched to the premises near the district hospital Pulwama discovered the unregistered clinic operated by the individual without proper qualifications.
“The person was also prescribing medicines to patients without having any basic qualification. During the inspection, prescription pads belonging to Firdous Ahmad and CCTV footage were seized as evidence,” the official stated.
The clinic and chemist shop were subsequently seized, with further investigation into the matter initiated—(KNO)
