Start ups always play crucial role in the development of economy and this role is not different in Jammu and Kashmir.
Recently Lt Governor addressed Manon Sinha National Seminar on ‘Role of academic-driven Startups in developing economy of J&K (RASE 2024)’.
He highlighted the potential of Academic-driven startups to transform J&K’s economy by fostering a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship in educational institutions.
He said that startups are powerful instrument to bridge universities-industries gap, meeting two important objectives- employment generation & profit generation.
He lauded the initiative aimed at creating an environment to inspire, empower and connect academia and industry and mentor the students to lead startup ecosystem
He said that it will encourage Universities/Colleges to invest in future and nurture the talents for impactful innovations.
