Private sector of education in J&K is showing visible progress on every front.
Recently Minister for Jal Shakti, Forest, Ecology and Environment, and Tribal Affairs, presided over the annual day and prize distribution ceremony of RM Public School, Jammu, titled ‘Aarangam,’ held at the Zorawar Singh Auditorium, University of Jammu.
He applauded the hard work of the students and praised the theme ‘Aarangam.’ He acknowledged the role of private educational institutions in providing quality education while calling for expanding reach, accessibility and making it affordable for underprivileged sections of society. He emphasised that fostering a brotherhood environment is crucial for education. He also urged students to plant at least one tree to combat climate change.
Chairman Rameshwar Mengi, Trustee Rita Mengi, Director Pushp Vatika, Risheek Mengi, and several guests from affiliated schools attended the event along with parents and patrons.
Director RM Public School, Rakshan Mengi, Vice Principal, Dr. Harvinder Kour and Administrator, Surinder Singh extended a warm welcome to all dignitaries.
Highlighting the theme of the cultural show, AARANGAM, Dr. Kour explained that it symbolizes a space where challenges and opportunities coexist, testing and celebrating true potential. This theme aims to inspire students to face their own challenges with courage and creativity.
