SRINAGAR: The minimum temperature dropped further across the Valley, with Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir, recording the season’s coldest night at minus 2.0 degrees Celsius.
Pahalgam, a renowned tourist destination, recorded a low of minus 4.8 degrees Celsius.
The Meteorological Department (MeT) reported that Qazigund, known as the gateway to Kashmir, recorded a minimum temperature of minus 2.2 degrees Celsius, while Kupwara in north Kashmir recorded minus 1.2 degrees Celsius.
Gulmarg, a popular ski resort, registered a low of minus 3.5 degrees Celsius.
Notably, the MeT has forecast dry weather conditions across the region until December 7.(KNO)
