“It is believed that he has taken some poisonous substance this morning at his residential quarter,” news agency GNS reported quoting the official sources.

“He was airlifted to sub-district Hospital Kupwara for the treatment,” the official said.

Incharge BMO Kupwara, Dr Iqbal told GNS that the person has been referred to a Srinagar hospital for advanced treatment.
