PAGD leadership has been accusing police, administration and JK Apni Party of trying to get their members out even as they have won the DDC elections on PAGD ticket.
Reacting to these allegations JK Apni Party said that they were not forcing any person to join their party but at the same time they cannot stop anyone to join their fold.
Recently Divisional Commissioner Kashmir P K Pole said that they were exploring the legal options of whether there is the provision of law to stop DDC members from joining other parties after winning the recently held election.
Divisional Commissioner Kashmir was reacting to the question of the media who insists that there are complaints from DDC members that being encouraged to switch sides especially from PAGD to Apni Party.
The National Conference has been very critical of Altaf Bukhari and his party and has accused them of being working at the behest of the centre and to fulfill their designs in Kashmir.
Rejecting the remarks made by Apni Party against NC leadership National Conference said “NC was part of a greater NDA alliance, which was an amalgamation of various parties, no less than twenty four. We were part of a bigger NDA alliance which besides us had many other secular parties within its fold. The alliance was guided by a common minimum programme. Nevertheless, despite being a constituent of NDA, we didn’t allow BJP to set its foot in J&K, not to talk of allowing it to fiddle with our status”.
