Reaction of society
Jammu and Kashmir people have been reacting on social media over the many decisions of the government and the latest decision to impose night curfew has been criticized and they have questioned the logic behind such restrictions during night hours.
Political parties, civil society members and the doctors association of Kashmir have appealed to Lt. Governor Manoj Sinha to direct the health for RT-PCR tests of travelers, regulate the rush in the gardens of Kashmir especially in Tulip garden where thousands of people are entering on a daily basis including locals and tourists, and there are no norms being followed by the visitors.
The hotels have been directed in Kashmir to keep some rooms as quarantine centers for the tourists who test positive while refusing to give any quarantine facility to the travelers in Kashmir valley, now the administration has decided to go for mass vaccination of hotel staff across Kashmir Valley.
The government should rethink about their decision of not providing any quarantine facility to those travelers including tourists who are testing positive as the hotels and houseboats at their own level cannot provide such facility and with the result there is a possibility that the covid infection can spread and can infect all the staff and other members in the hotels and houseboats.
