Jammu and Kashmir government has taken slew of measures to ensure that at village level patients get the testing facility in the covid care centres recently set up by the government for the purpose of providing them with basic admission facility if they test positive to the infection.
In this direction, Manoj Sinha has given clear instructions to the officers that there would be compromise on Covid Appropriate Behaviour; Strict enforcement of Test-Track-Treat protocol – long term solution to mitigate the spread of CoronaVirus in Jammu and Kashmir.
He asked his administration to make synergized efforts to augment vaccination with focus on priority groups especially between the age group of 18-45 years.
After receiving the bulk of vaccines from the central government, the Jammu and Kashmir health department has accelerated the vaccination process for the age group of 18-45 in the entire Jammu and Kashmir.
LG has also asked the different wings of the government for proper utilization of covid care centres at panchayats through mobilization of resources that has to be ensured for their effective functioning.
