Lifting restrictions
There is good news for the people of Jammu and Kashmir that covid positive cases are receding and the government is also trying to lift the restrictions from those areas which are showing minimum cases.
In the past few weeks the government has been monitoring the situation with the feedback from the ground and looking at different parameters to lift the restrictions in different districts of Jammu and Kashmir.
In this direction JK administration meeting under the chair of chief secretary has now declared 14 districts as under green zone and this has been done as per Cardinal Indicators for assessing the COVID 19 Situation.
In lifting the restrictions, the government of Jammu and Kashmir is trying to normalize the life in all the green zone districts and the life is also limping back to normalcy as the covid wave in the past few months has forced the government to enforce restrictions on daily life.
But dip in the cases does not mean that the covid-19 has disappeared. People have a responsibility to adhere to the norms set by the government while coming out of their homes like maintaining distance, wearing masks and also going for vaccination.
In order to vaccinate more and more people in the recent past the health department has been very active on the ground and are trying to achieve the target of vaccinating the people within the timeline set by the government.
Vaccination is the key to come out from the shadows of covid-19 infection and the people at large should understand their responsibilities and should not hesitate to go for the vaccination and save their lives.
