DC Pulwama inaugurates self-defence camp
PULWAMA JULY 6: Deputy Commissioner Pulwama Baseer ul Haq Choudary, in presence of Principal GDC, inaugurated one week self defense camp (Boxing, Martial) for girls, organized by Department of Physical Education Department in collaboration with Women Development Cell, at GDC Pampore.
Speaking on the occasion, DC said that the camp will provide opportunity for the girls to learn self-defence techniques. He said apart from their studies, girls should actively participate in such programmes and such types of co-curricular activities shall also be conducted across the district.
On the occasion experts highlighted the importance of Martial Arts for maintaining physical and mental fitness as well.
