School Education
School Education has been in focus in Jammu and Kashmir especially in the past few months when during the online classes some children expressed their reservations about the burden of classes and the quantum of syllabus over them.
When a girl went online and appealed PM Modi to intervene for the number of classes and the syllabus being thrust upon them while being in homes, it came not only into the media focus but also in the notice of LG Manoj Sinha.
Acting on her complaint Manoj Sinha asked the School Education department to lessen the burden of syllabus and also the online classes on children in Jammu and Kashmir.
Though the private schools association and many others expressed their reservations about the decision of LG Manoj Sinha, the school going children were all praised for the decision.
School Education in Jammu and Kashmir needs special focus of the government and it is the duty of administration to bring the School Education here at par with best of the School Education syllabus available at other places.
It needs a transformation so that the School Education picks pace according to the modern needs and the children in Jammu and Kashmir get the same standard of education as being imparted at the rest of the places.
