Tourism revival
The government of Jammu and Kashmir despite two waves of pandemic has been trying to revive tourism and in this direction they have been taking slew of measures so that tourists come here and the economy is revived.
In this direction recently LG Manoj Sinha reviewed the functioning of the tourism department and has asked his officers to prepare for the future as there is a huge untapped potential of the tourism industry in the entire Jammu and Kashmir.
He called for preparing a comprehensive future plan for the tourism industry so that the new tourist spots are identified to come on the map so that more and more places get the tourist rush in future.
While taking a review of the tourism industry he directed his administration for developing various tourist circuits across the UT of Jammu and Kashmir.
He said that it is the duty of the government to properly maintain all the tourism properties so that they are utilized for the future and for the tourists in a better manner.
Asking his officers to ensure better facilities for the tourists who come to Jammu and Kashmir Manoj Sinha said that the administration must gear up to cater to the growing needs and also prepare for the future.
