Srinagar projects
Srinagar city being developed as a smart city along with Jammu is getting special focus and attention from the government so that these two cities of Jammu and Kashmir get the required projects completed within the timeline set by the authorities.
Recently LG Manoj Sinha e-Inaugurated multiple projects of Srinagar Smart City so that it gets the required attention and is ready to host tourists as there is a trickle of the tourists in Kashmir valley especially in Srinagar city as the cases have started showing downward trend.
Srinagar city has a lot of projects to be completed under the smart city project and many of the projects were recently completed and e-inaugurated by Manoj Sinha.
He has dedicated Surface Car Parking at Residency Road, Variable Message Displays (VMDs) worth Rs. 6.0 Cr to the public and has expressed hope that Srinagar will soon be a city with a face lift of a smart city.
He launched ‘mySrinagar’ App- a one stop solution catering to the needs of citizens & tourists. If tourism starts picking up in Kashmir valley such new apps would be the game changers as the tourists want such devices available while they are for a trip to Kashmir valley.
The government has also started efforts for the circulation of information not only among the citizens but in the tourists and in this direction recently for real time information dissemination, tourist-related info; Emergency and Helpline services now available at user’s finger tips.
