Covid situation
Covid situation in Jammu and Kashmir is by and large under control and the positive rate among the people has receded. Despite there is no alarming trend in the positive cases still the government is not taking any chances and on a regular basis LG Manoj Sinha is reviewing Covid situation with Covid Task Force, Deputy Commissioners and district police chiefs.
He has been reviewing the situation and has asked the different wings of the government including the health department to remain alert and start the process again if there is any trend of increase in the covid positive cases.
He told his administration to apply past learning & be prepared to tackle the future challenge of the possible third wave, so that the people do not suffer any more and get the treatment on time.
The Jammu and Kashmir government has increased the capacity of existing oxygen generation plants while they have installed many new oxygen plants so that if there is a possible third wave there is no oxygen shortage.
Adhering to sops and making people to follow the covid appropriate behavior while maintaining social distance are some of the keys to the success to contain the pandemic.
The government has already asked the authorities on the ground to slap a fine on all those persons who are violating the norms prescribed by the government and have appealed people to cooperate by showing CAB on the ground when they move out from their homes.
