New fleet
The government of Jammu and Kashmir has decided to bring new comfortable vehicles through its corporation so that people get better means of travel especially in the rural areas.
Focusing on the comfort of common people in Jammu and Kashmir, recently Lt Governor Manoj Sinha flagged off the first lot of 95 newly procured Buses of J&K Road Transport Corporation.
JKRTC’s fleet to undergo major expansion with the addition of more than 500 new vehicles in a gradual manner is the promise and the goal of the present administration for the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
Augmented fleet of buses to expand JKRTC’s operational network; will provide safe, hassle-free & economical transport services to the general public of J&K and will also facilitate them to travel across.
Connectivity brings growth and prosperity is a known fact and when these hundreds of new vehicles which are being procured by the JK government will ply on the roads will certainly boost the economy.
New vehicles to ply on major Interstate routes; cater to the population of remote areas of J&K and the first batch of the vehicles which have been inducted in the fleet of JKRTC will facilitate the travel of common people.
He flagged off the first lot of 95 newly procured Buses of J&K Road Transport Corporation (JKRTC) and dedicated them to the service of people of J&K.
