Public outreach camp
J&K administration is organizing public outreach camps across every district.
Recently in an effort to engage with the local community and address their concerns, Commissioner Secretary, Industries and Commerce (I&C), recently convened an extensive public outreach camp here to assess and address public grievances besides taking stock of development activities in the district.
The event provided a platform for the residents to voice their issues, grievances and seek solution from the government authorities.
The people and the PRI representatives projected various issues concerning socio-economic development of their respective areas with emphasis on infrastructure and basic public services.
During the programme, Vikramjit Singh listened to the problems and challenges being faced by the general public while assuring them timely redressal of the same. He also sought feedback from the participants regarding the status of implementation of various Centre and Ut sponsored welfare and development programmes.
He had an interactive session with the attendees facilitating a direct dialogue between the government representative and the local residents, fostering transparency, accountability and community participation in governance. He encouraged constructive feedback and suggestions from the attendees, emphasizing the importance of collaborative efforts to address the needs and aspirations of the citizens effectively.
