Congress Trusts Election Results Over Exit Polls: Tariq Karra
SRINAGAR: Stating that Exit Polls Could be dramatic, Jammu and Kashmir Congress President on Sunday said that the Congress party believes the exact polls over the exit polls.
Speaking to reporters here at Jammu, Karra said that exit polls could be dramatic but Congress trusts the actual election results over the exit poll projections.
He further said the Congress Party is prepared for post-election scenarios and is in touch with potential allies.
Karra said that the Congress Party is open to alliances with other political parties to form a majority, as long as they share the common goal of keeping the BJP out of power.
He also said that the pre-election nomination of five MLAs before the government formation is an undemocratic and unconstitutional move.
