Srinagar, May 01 (KNS): 87 members of Tableegi Jama’at stuck in various parts of New Delhi Friday appealed authorities to evacuate them at the earliest as they have completed all precautionary measures.
Talking to Kashmir News Service (KNS) over phone from Sultanpor Delhi, members of Tableegi Jama’at said they have completed two times quarantine but they fail to understand why they have been kept in quarantine still. They said they are facing problems as they don’t have enough clothes to wear.
They added they are voluntarily ready to quarantine themselves at Kashmir after arriving their homes.
Manzoor Ahmad, a member of Tableegi Jama’at told KNS that first they were put in Lok Nayak hospital for 19 days and presently they have been in Sultanpore New Delhi and said despite completion of two times quarantine we fail to understand that why we have not been evacuated?
It is to mention here that thousands of students, laborers, patients and other people are stranded in parts of country and are demanding early evacuation.
Though J&K administration has formally initiated the evacuation process, but still thousands including studens are yet to reach to their homes in wake of countrywide lockdown restrictions.
Principal Secretary Planning and official spokesperson of J&K administration Rohit kansal on Thursday issued an advisory wherein SOPs are mentioned in detail about evacuation of laborers, students and others.
He also appealed people do not move without prior consent of J&K administration and clarified that all unregulated arrivals to be quarantined for 21 days at Lakhanpur. (KNS)
