Erring traders fined Rs 1,13,000 in Ganderbal
GANDERBAL, FEBRUARY 26: The court of Additional Deputy Commissioner-cum- Adjudicating Officer, Ganderbal, Farooq Ahmad Baba imposed a fine of Rs 1,13,000 under the Food Safety Act on traders for violating the provisions of Food Safety and Standards Act-2006, Rules and Regulations -2011.
The ADC directed the Food Business Operators to correct the deficiencies found during the course of adjudication in processed and packaged food products.
He said that the district administration will take stern action against traders found involved in adulteration of food, medicines and other essential commodities.
