DECC Shopian organizes Awareness Programme for unorganised workers
SHOPIAN, MARCH 03: The District Employment & Counselling Centre Shopian organized awareness camp in District Employment and counselling centre Shopian, here today.
The Deputy Commissioner Shopian, Ch. Mohammad Yasin was chief guest on the occasion.
Scores of unorganized workers and unemployed educated youth participated in the programme.
The DC stressed upon the participants to avail the benefits of various government schemes and opt for self-employment and entrepreneurship as a viable alternative to government jobs.
General Manager District Industries centre Shopian, Dr. Showkat Ahmad, District Nodal Officer JKEDI, Tasneef Rasool Parray, District Manager Common Service Centre, Hilal Ahmad and District Coordinator Common Service Centre Peerzada Tufail Ahmad were present on the occasion.
