PC demands evacuation of stranded JK residents

Srinagar, April 17 (KNS): political secretary of peoples conference on Friday said While extending lockdown for human care and getting control on covid 19 is appreciable, but stranded people in outside valley are too much eager to come back.
A statement issued to KNS Mohammad Sulieman Bhat said that there is no doubt that lockdown has increased the sufferings of the poor people in general and also thousands of labours, students, handicraft vendors and patients in outside valley are stuck in different parts of country, however the miseries of the stranded people amid covid19 and lockdown have worsened.
Government claims for providing shelter and food but ground situation reports reveal. Peoples conference demand end for their immediate back to home on humanitarian grounds, keeping in view the present situation and appeal must be considered through the prism of humanity.
Bhat hopes the immediate return of stranded people of Kashmir.(KNS)
