Army jawan, militant killed in Doda encounter

Doda: On Sunday in Postapotra village in Gundana area of Doda one army jawan and Hizb militant was killed so far while the operation was going on. Army spokesman told some news agencies that one of their jawans received gunshot wound when they were marching towards the hideout and he later succumbed to his injuries in army hospital.
A senior police officer in Jammu told media that the Hizb militant has been identified as Tahir alias Uqab. He said that they were having reports that two militants were hiding in a house and they encircled the area on Saturday evening.
Locals said that army, CRPF and police were still engaged in the area and the village has been completely sealed off.
