One more death and huge challenges in Kashmir

Anantnag: One elderly woman Anantnag district of South Kashmir died due to COVID infection, taking the toll 14 on Monday. 29 fresh cases have been reported in Kashmir on Monday noon including over dozen of Policemen. The challenges for the administration have increased due to the fact that thousands of stranded Kashmiris are coming back from outside. Testing has been increased in the past few days resulting in detection of more cases especially in south Kashmir.

Kulgam is emerging as a hot bed of COVID infection as hundreds of laborers have comeback Punjab, Himachal and other parts carrying COVID infection with the death of woman in South Kashmir, COVID infection in Kashmir valley is far from over as the cases have also increased in past two days. The worrying news is about the growing infection in doctors, nurses and paramedics.

Authorities have been appealing people to maintain social distance and adhere to the SOP’s already convey to them by administration.
