According to statement issued to Kashmir News Service (KNS), it said “On the intervening night of August 4 and 5, 2019, the ruling dispensation of India completely ignored morality, ethics and even its own Constitution and terminated the special territorial status of J&K under Article 370 and 35(A) unilaterally while imposing severe restriction of people’s movement.

Party said after its proclamation, New Delhi kept people of J&K confined under four walls, deployed millions of troops with heavy armory, imposed strict restrictions, snapped all communication services and thereby no one was allowed to step out.

The decision, which was unilateral, led Kashmiri’s jobless due to unannounced and horrific atmosphere.

It said now as a year is coming to an end, the GoI and the local bureaucracy have started issuing citizenship certificates to ensure a change in the proportion of the territorial population.

Further the state especially within Kashmir zone wants to make Kashmiris immoral by setting up of liquor trade.

Party clarified that Kashmir issue is historically acknowledged between India and Pakistan which needs to be resolved as per the whims and wishes of people concerned. (KNS)
