SERIOUS BUSINESS
New LG has proved that providing financial relief to the business community in Kashmir valley is a serious business for him and not some time pass as being perceived in the past.
Recently he not only constituted a committee but asked his administration to submit the report within the timeline to be forwarded to the central government for immediate response.
All these developments have come after the KCCI delegation met with new LG in Raj Bhawan and talked to him in detail about how they were being ignored by the administration to provide any financial relief to them.
The Committee constituted for coming up with proposals for revival of Business Sector in Jammu and Kashmir met delegations and deputations of the business, industries and commerce fraternity of Kashmir Division recently at the Sales tax complex under the Chairmanship of Advisor to Lt. Governor K.K Sharma.
Advisor who is heading the committee is trying to get firsthand information from different business delegations so as to make a final report for Raj Bhawan.
While interacting with the deputations he said that the Government by constituting the Committee is exploring the ways and means of reviving the business and related activities in Jammu and Kashmir which has undergone a low ebb and has been badly hit like in other parts of the country due to the Covid-19 pandemic. He said that the suggestions would be formulated and sent to the concerned for undertaking the necessary interventions for revival of business in Jammu and Kashmir.
