Two injured in separate road accidents in north Kashmir
Two persons were injured in as many road accidents on Wednesday afternoon in north-Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
The accident took place on along Highway near Hyderbeigh Pattan resulting in injuries to a person.
The mishap occurred as an Alto-800 car bearing registration number JK-09A 2024 driven by one Mohammed Shahid Lone son of Ghulam Rasool Lone residence Kulangam Handwara skidded-off the road at Jamia Masjid, Hyderbeigh Pattan.
In the incident, son of the driver got injured and was immediately rushed to Trauma Hospital, Pattan.
The injured person was later on referred to Bone and Joint Hospital, Barzulla Srinagar for preferential treatment.
In an another accident, an AS-Presso bearing Registration number JK-05GJ 1911, which was being driven by Feroz Ahmad Kalas residence of Paranpillan, on way from Paranpillan towards Bandi, skidded off the road near a local army camp, resulting injuries to the driver.
The injured driver was immediately rushed to Sub-Divisional Hospital (SDH) Uri where from he has been referred to Government Medical College (GMC) Baramulla for special treatment.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of both of the incidents and further investigations set in motion. (GNS)
