COVID-19: Three more die of virus in Jammu and Kashmir, toll 1941
Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir reported three more deaths due to the COVID-19 in the last twenty-four hours, taking the fatality to 1941, officials said on Tuesday.
The victims include a 65-year-old woman from Mattan Anantnag, an 80-year-old man from Buchpora Srinagar and 55-year-old man from Kathua.
With these deaths, the fatality count has reached 1941 in J-K —1219 in Valley and 722 in Jammu division, the officials said.
Srinagar district with 458 deaths tops the list followed by Jammu (371), Baramulla (174), Budgam (118), Kupwara (95), Pulwama (88), Anantnag (86), Doda (64), Bandipora (61), Udhampur (57), Kulgam (54), Rajouri (55), Kathua (53), Ganderbal (46), Shopian (39), Samba (40), Poonch (24), Ramban (21), Kishtwar(22), and Reasi (15).
