Sumo driver arrested in south Kashmir after ‘arms, ammunition found’ in vehicle
Police and army arrested a sumo driver after some arms and ammunitions were allegedly recovered from the vehicle at Kokernag in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district, officials said on Wednesday.
They said Army’s 19 RR and Special Operation Group Kokernag stopped a Tata Sumo (JK03B-9733) at Senzi Gadole in the area and “recovered arms and ammunition.”
The driver of vehicle, Waseem Ahmad son of Abdul Qudoos Muglo of Senzi Gadole has been arrested and said vehicle seized. “Further details will follow,” they added. (GNS)
