Be positive think positive says LG’s office

The office of Lt. Governor Manoj Sinha has released a Statistics, giving a positive picture of recoveries. According to the data released by this office over 2 lac people have recovered from covid-19 infection while about the vaccination also it has given a very healthy picture.

While the common people are alarmed and frightened by the number of fatalities due to the covid-19 infection, the data released by the LG’s office has given a positive picture of the present situation.

Trying to address the problems at the village level, recently the government has ordered rupee one lac for each panchayat to set up a covid care centre with five bed capacity. The government has also decided to purchase ambulances with oxygen supply for the rural areas so that the covid patients could reach the hospitals on time.

According to the news agency GNS, quoting figures from LG’s office, over 29 Lac Vaccine Doses Administered Till May 19.

Preceded by “#JammuAndKashmir will win the fight against #COVID19”, the tweet read “202039 Covid Positive patients defeat the virus and recover till May 19th, 2021.” An illustrated image appended to the tweet displayed that 2847780 Covid vaccine doses were administered up to the same period besides it showing that 4338 recoveries being recorded in the last twenty-four hours (May 18 – May 19).

In a successive tweet, the office informed of a 120-year-old woman Dholi Devi from Udhumpur who ‘took her first dose of the Covid Vaccine’.

“120 years old, a lady Dholi Devi from a remote area of Udhampur District took her 1st dose of #CovidVaccine”, reads the tweet. An appended representational picture flaunting the old lady with few health-care workers reads; “120 years old, Dholi Devi, who hails from a remote village Ghar Katiyas of Sub Division Drudu, Udhampur District turn upto vaccination camp to get first shot of #CovidVaccination.”

“We are very happy to get our eldest member of family vaccinated against the Covid disease”, quoting a family member, the tweet concluded.
