Five policemen injured in North Kashmir road accident
At least five policemen including an officer were injured after a bullet proof mobile vehicle they were travelling in skidded off the road after the driver lost control over it in Tangmarg area of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
The incident occurred near Pinjoor area of Kunzar.
Sources told news agency Kashmir News Trust that out of five cops who sustained injuries two were shifted to SMHS Hospital Srinagar for advanced treatment while others have been discharged after first aid.
The injured policemen have been identified as Assistant Sub-Inspector Harvander Singh, Driver Mukhtar Ahmad Ajaz Ahmad, Firdous Ahmad and Imtiyaz Ahmad.
Ajaz Ahmad and Imtiyaz Ahmad are undergoing treatment in Srinagar hospital. (KNT)
