Vibrant panchayat system
After holding the elections for panchayats, the government of Jammu and Kashmir said that they were very keen to make the system vibrant so that these panchayats can deliver on the ground especially at the village level.
Recently LG Manoj Sinha e-inaugurated 44 Digital Village Centers in Jammu and Kashmir. Now every panchayat office which is connected would be digitally integrated with higher offices to provide Government services to rural population.
The aim of the government by such modern systems is to give every villager in Jammu and Kashmir an opportunity to utilize the government services which have been available for them. Manoj Sinha while e-inaugurating the digital village centers has said that the government is making digital interventions to improve the quality of life in rural areas.
He said that the government has been developing robust communication infrastructure to provide every citizen access to government services so that he feels the interventions of the government for a better life at his doorstep.
The JK administration has been working very hard to integrate the e-system in such a manner from panchayats to civil secretariat that by August they have a direction from Raj Bhawan to bring all HoDs, Districts on e-Office platform.
