Night Flight Operations
The government of Jammu and Kashmir has been pleading for the night flight operations both in Jammu and Srinagar so that there is a lot of footfall of those travelers who can only come by such flights.
Recently Lt Governor Manoj Sinha inaugurated much-awaited Night Flight Operations at Jammu Airport. He flagged off maiden late evening Go Air flight from Jammu to Delhi.
There is no doubt that such night flight operations will surely increase travel by air especially in Jammu city. Commencement of the night flight operations will give impetus to the local economy, investment by enhancing the aerial connectivity & increasing tourism footfall in the region.
He virtually flagged off the first late-night flight of Go Air from Jammu to Delhi to mark the occasion. He acknowledged the support of Government of India and different agencies for coordination and ensuring the fulfillment of various procedural and on-ground facilities imperative for the start of night operations.
He observed that the much-awaited facility will give relief to the passengers and in turn will have a long term positive impact on the economy of the region.
Tourism is the main attraction in Jammu and Kashmir and such night flight operations will surely give a much needed push to this sector. It will surely have a positive impact for the future of the tourism industry.
