During searches in Karnah village, war like stores and narcotics recover

Security forces during a search operation near the line of control in the Karnah sector of Kupwara have said that they found war-like stores and during the intensified searches could recover narcotics also.
According to the police officials quoted by the news agencies the security forces on Thursday have recovered war like stores and Narcotics in Hajitra Tadd village near the Line of Control in Karnah sector of North Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
Official sources told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that today morning security forces launched a search operation in the area based on a specific input.
They said that during the operation arms, ammunition and Narcotics, which include 15 Grenades, 3 detonators, 5 Pistols with ammunition and a packet of heroin were recovered.
The officials said that further investigation into the incident has been initiated.
