ATHWAS: Director Health Services Kashmir initiates cleanliness drive of Dal Lake on 15th day
SRINAGAR, APRIL 25: The cleanliness drive of Dal Lake organized by the J&K Lake Conservation and Management Authority continued on the 15th day today in an enthusiastic way under the ATHWAS initiative of the government.
Today, Dr. Mushtaq Ahmad, Director Health Services Kashmir in presence of Vice chairman, LC&MA Dr. Bashir Ahmad Bhat today participated in the initiative of Dal Cleaning drive by removing the chunk of weed from the lake.
Speaking on the occasion, the Director said that Dal Lake belongs to one and all and it is the duty of everybody to help in cleaning the lake.
Dr. Mushtaq was accompanied by many doctors, nurses and other para-medical staff which were about 150 in number and they also removed the weeds from the lake to contribute in the saving of Dal Lake.
Besides, 30 students from Gandhi Memorial college also participated enthusiastically in the drive.
Among others, Secretary Irfan Bahadur, Ex Engineer Mohammad Ashraf Baba, Project Officer Ms Gazalla Abdullah were also present in the said event.
