Militant killed in ongoing encounter in Bandipora

Bandipora : A militant has been killed in an ongoing encounter between security forces and militants in Brar-Aragam area of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Friday officials said.
The officials told that one unidentified militant has been killed in the operation. They said that the identification and affiliation of slain militant is being ascertained while operation in the area is going on.
Earlier, the encounter broke out shortly after joint security forces including army’s 13RR, CRPF and SOG of Jammu and kashmir police cordoned off the area following inputs about the presence of militants there.
Meanwhile, quoting IGP, Kashmir Police Zone in a tweet said: “Two recent infiltrated Pakistani terrorists of LeT terror outfit who escaped from recent anti-terrorist operation on 11/5/22 at Salinder forest area were #tracked down. They have been trapped today at Brar Bandipora—(KNO)
