J&K reports 3 new covid-19 cases, no death
Srinagar, May 24 : Jammu and Kashmir reported three new covid-19 cases while there was no death due to the pathogen in the last 24 hours, officials said on Tuesday.
They said that all the cases were reported from Jammu district, taking the overall tally to 454207—166438 in Jammu and 287769 in Kashmir.
There was also no death due to the pathogen reported in the last 24 hours, they said. So far 4752 persons have succumbed to the virus—2328 in Jammu and 2424 in Kashmir.
Besides, they said, four Covid-19 patients recovered during the last 24 hours and include two each from Jammu division and Kashmir Valley. So far 449398 people have recovered, leaving the active case tally at 57— 43 in Jammu and 14 in Kashmir.
The officials told GNS there was no new confirmed case of mucormycosis (black fungus) reported today. So far 51 black fungus cases have been confirmed in J&K, the officials said. They also informed that 10096 doses of covid-19 vaccine were administered during the time in J&K. (GNS)
